Will, You Rock

2012 05 06_6055_edited-1

I had dozens and dozens of stars I had cut over the years to use for various projects and the envelope they were in was getting mighty thick. It was time to thin it out and use them up! I made two cards just like this one.

It was so simple to throw together. I put down some 7 Gypsies canvas tape on the bottom, sewed a line of stars across the top of that tape, and then stamped my sentiment. But, it still looked a bit like it was missing something. So, just a few little lines from BB: Retro that helped draw the eye to the sentiment and it felt all nice and cohesive. I thought it was manly enough to send to my rock star little brother, Will, in Denver, CO for his 23rd birthday.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Classic Kraft (PTI)
Stamps: Say It With Style, Polka Dot Basics, and BB: Retro (all PTI), stars (Hero Arts)
Ink: Van Dyke Brown (Nick Bantock), Pure Poppy (PTI), Kiwi Kiss (SU!)
Other: red canvas tape (7 Gypsies)
