This is a fairly big card measuring in at 5.25" x 5.25" because I had to fit that cutie elephant in there. The elephant template came from Papertrey Ink. I cut him out and then ran him through my Big Shot with an embossing folder. The banner at the bottom I cut by hand and then used my white pen to draw in some dashes around the edge.
I used a button for the eye and threaded a bit of embroidery floss through it and fluffed it out so it looks like eyelashes. Lastly, I stitched the card top to a white cardstock base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Say It With Style (PTI)
Cardstock: PTI
Patterned Paper: American Crafts
Other: elephant template (PTI), heart punch (SU!), button, embroidery floss, embossing folder (Provo Craft)

V Day card #13
I thought I'd also show you what's on the inside of each of these cards. In every single one I stamped "i love" from the Wonderful Words: Additions stamp set and then just hand wrote what it is that I loved about him. In this one, I was being silly and referencing the popular Selena Gomez song.
Supplies:
Cardstock: white (PTI)
PP: music notes and black/cream polka dot (Jenni Bowlin)
Stamps: Round and Round and Wonderful Words: Additions (PTI)
Ink: Tea Dye Duo
Other: Mat Stack 1 die, note die cuts (Quickutz)

I have a few more of these mini cards I made for DH - one for each of the first 14 days of February. :)
Since I (still!) don't have banner dies, I used my scallop edge punch and then just cut up between each scallop to create these little round-end banner flags.
Supplies:
Cardstock: white (PTI)
PP: text paper (7 Gypsies, I think)
Stamps: alphabet (long since defunct PSX)
Other: red/white Baker's twine (PTI), heart punch (SU!)

V Day card #8
I think this one is my favorite of all of them. It was a close run between this one and the previous post but this one won by a hair. I think because of its simplicity.
If you click on the photo to make it larger you'll see that the hearts are punched through the top layer and then backed by the red patterned paper. Then the top layer is set on top of the card base with pop dots. Fun 3-D effect.

I made 14 little (3.5" x 3.5") cards for my DH for days 1-14 of the month of love. On the inside of each card I wrote something that I loved about him. I'll try to get them all posted here shortly but I think he has some of them squirreled away and I have to find them first! :)
Supplies:
Cardstock: white and Pure Poppy (PTI)
Bracket die: SU!
Other: stickers and die cut from who knows where (old, old stuff in my stash)

Papertrey Ink 5-year anniversary
One of my very favorite companies, Papertrey Ink, is celebrating their 5 year anniversary. To help them celebrate they've asked us to make a card inspired by a favorite of one of the design team. I chose Betsy Veldman's technique to combine lots of sentiments. I've been wanting to try this ever since she showed it but just never got around to it.
Nichole and the design team have been instrumental in improving my skills and pushing my creativity. PTI has, hands down, the best design team in the industry. They are all so wonderfully talented, helpful, encouraging, and nice. My hat is off to you, ladies. I'm looking forward to spending many more years with you.
I had a lot of fun digging through my stamps to see what I could put together. I'll definitely be trying this technique again.
Thanks for visiting!
Stamps: Say it With Style, Wonderful Words: Additions, Simple Valentine, and Tiny Tags (PTI)
Ink: Pure Poppy (PTI), Bubblegum and Pebble (Amuse)
Patterned paper: Reminisce and PTI (black polka dots)
