Papertrey SAF bridal challenge

One more card tonight for Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-faire event. Scroll down to see my other two cards for the mix+match challenge and the patterns challenge.

This challenge was to use all white to create a bridal card. I used my Turning a New Leaf stamp set with some Perfect Pearls. The LOVE stamp is a rubber stamp I've had for ages and I stamped that on some vellum and then attached the vellum with my sewing machine. I love the shimmer from the Perfect Pearls - very cool effect. Lastly, a few bits of diamond bling finishes it off.

PTI Stamp-a-faire Patterns challenge

Here is the card I made for the Patterns Challenge for Papertrey Ink's stampafaire event. I used Pattern 10 from Melissa Phillips. I love how she uses tags on cards but mine never seem to look quite right and I think I figured out Melissa's trick - she trims her card size so that the proportion works. Kind of a huge "duh" moment for me.

Here is the pattern:

And you can see Melissa's gorgeous card here.

And here's my take on Melissa's pattern:

PTI Stampafaire - Mix+Match challenge

Hi! Dropping in to post some projects I made on Saturday for Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-faire event. This first card is for the Mix+Match challenge. Betsy taught us some tips on how to mix pattern paper successfully. I'm not sure how successful this was but I made it work. I do love the tag but the jury is still out on the card as a whole.
