Just dropping in to join the fun on this month's blog hop. The challenge was to create something with this stunning piece as inspiration.
I was drawn to the blues and purples and the white lines.
I started by smooshing some purple and blue Distress ink on my card front then heat embossing in white the banner stamps from Birthday Style.
I heat embossed my sentiment in black onto vellum and taped it on to my card front with washi tape. The balloon dies were stamped with a text background and a stripe background and then tied with some purple sparkly twine. For some reason the twine photographed as tan but really it's much lighter IRL.
