Mother's Day card

I made another card using this week's challenge sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. For whatever reason this one just really spoke to me and I couldn't resist making Mother's Day cards for my mom and MIL (yes, they're getting the same card. shhh... they'll never know. :) )

I hope you can see better in the photo above that I created the card from clear "cardstock" - it's so difficult to get a good shot of it. I adhered a piece of patterned paper to the inside of the card so that it would show through from the front. The banners are adhered to the front of the card.

I did end up putting a piece of white cardstock behind the banner so that I'd have somewhere to write. Don't have to say much! :)

Thanks for dropping by!

Cardstock: Rustic Cream, Ocean Tides, Sweet Blush, Summer Sunrise, Limeade Ice, clear (PTI)
Patterned Paper: Sweet Day (Echo Park)
Ink: Strawberry (Fresh Ink), Steel Blue (Fresh Ink), Peach (Fresh Ink), Lady Bug (Memento), Fine Linen (PTI), Limeade Ice (PTI)
Stamps: Headline Alphabet and Happiness in Bloom (PTI)
Dies: Beautiful Blooms 2 (PTI)
