Such a simple card using Modern Basics. I think that set has so many possibilities and I haven't even scratched the surface of it yet. I've seen lots of awesome cards on Pinterest using it - lots to CASE! :) You'll notice that I cut out one of the "squares" and the "hello" is stamped on the inside of the card but peeks out through this hole. I also poked some holes diagonally across each "square" to give it some texture.

This is really great. I agree that modern basics has such potential--I have so many pins with it, but haven't taken my brand new set out yet! I love that cut out--must have been a challenge, but totally worth it.
I think Modern Basics is one of my fave sets of all time! I love how much detail the poked holes add - I'll have to try that!
